The decor of the room at Brookhouse Guest House was charming, with a cozy cottage-like ambiance. The duvet covers looked posh, and the coffee pod machine was a great addition. The bathroom had a nice design and a good shower. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with plenty of choices and beautiful presentation. The manager, Alan, did a wonderful job and provided attentive service. Clapham village is a beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The locals were incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed our visit to the Bunk House bar, where we were treated to a tour and a birthday serenade by everyone. The village also had a community-run shop and a pub with lovely outdoor seating. I had a fantastic experience at Brookhouse Guest House and highly recommend it.

Located between Skipton and Kendal, Brookhouse Guest House is nestled in a beautiful area, making it a perfect base for exploring the stunning countryside and going on walks. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with fluffy towels and a Nexpresso machine adding a touch of luxury. The hospitable owner, Alan, goes the extra mile to accommodate guests, and the delicious breakfast is a great way to start the day. The small outdoor sitting area in front of the house provides a peaceful spot to relax, while the on-site parking is convenient.
Some parts could benefit from more thorough cleaning.

The host was friendly and approachable, and dinner was a highlight with delicious meals made from local produce. A hidden gem in a peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing break. The attention to detail in the rooms is impressive, with comfy beds and well-maintained private bathrooms. The breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared and served hot. The host is welcoming and gives great local advice on places to visit.
There were no major dislikes. However, parking on the road may cause some anxiety since it is a quiet lane and you need to tuck in well.

Really enjoyed our weekend in the beautiful and peaceful countryside with plenty of walks to keep us busy. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options and cooked to perfection. loved the fact that there was a pub just a stone's throw away where we could grab a pint and relax. having a comfortable bed and clean room was a definite plus.
The shower was a bit cramped for bigger individuals but the bathroom itself was quite modern. We also noticed some areas could have used more thorough cleaning, but overall it wasn't a real issue.
